We are looking for an experienced postdoc for an exciting project on Immunotherapy with IgA to activate neutrophils. Affinity with teaching and organisational skills are recommended.

About the position

You will guide a project on a novel engineered IgA molecule to activate neutrophils to kill cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. Target diseases are neuroblastoma and ovarian cancer. Next to this, you should help the PI Jeanette Leusen in guiding PhD students, techinicians and students and organization of the large research group. Some teaching support would be appreciated.

The immunotherapy group is embedded in the Center for Translational Immunology, a large department located in the UMC Utrecht. Within the department we have up-to date facilities for flow cytometry, imaging, protein production, antibody production, etc.

  • You have a PhD in immunology, oncology and/or molecular biology.
  • You have at least 2 years of postdoc experience and extensive lab experience.
