The UMC Utrecht employs its staff in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for University Medical Centres (Cao umc). Besides that, we offer a annual holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%. Employees are entitled to 9% paid leave.

Work permits and visas

If you come to work at UMC Utrecht, you may have to deal with immigration procedures. Procedures differ based on nationality, the purpose and duration of your stay. Procedures are significantly more extensive if you have a non-EU nationality. Some processes will have to be initiated before you arrive in the Netherlands, while others can take place afterwards. Once you are hired, the HR department will inform you of all procedures that are relevant for you, and will assist you where necessary.
